Fall 2025 Update – Legend of the Seas and Beyond

Our team has been making strong progress on Legend of the Seas at Meyer Turku Shipyard throughout the project. The cabin intake was completed, and the interior installation is well underway. The Legend of the Seas project includes 894 portside and 897 starboard cabins, totaling 1,771 cabins and covering an area of approximately 50,000 square meters. This ship’s project area doubled compared to previous Icon-class projects, as we handle both portside and starboard sections, rather than only portside. Legend of the Seas is scheduled to depart Turku in summer of 2026.

Construction of the fourth Icon-class cruise ship has also begun, with hull assembly that started in September 2025.

Between September and October 2025, our team completed Carnival Mardi Gras warranty works for Meyer Turku in Marseille, France, including:

  • 40 ADA cabins: floors, carpets, vinyls, and interior modifications such as electric curtains, panels, and wallpaper

  • 4 ironing rooms: floors, walls, and furniture modifications according to full ADA regulations

  • Corridor works: slopes, levelings, and new carpets

We are also delighted to welcome Tomi Vaintola to the team. With decades of shipbuilding experience, Tomi will be with us for the duration of the Legend of the Seas project.
